We provide business services to the offices and units in Undergraduate Education.

Purchasing Support

We provide assistance and support for Undergraduate Education purchasing in the following areas:

  • Allowable expenses can be purchased on your behalf using the university credit card or a purchase order. These requests must be made before receiving any goods or services. Additional information may be required, depending on the dollar amount of the purchase request.
  • Amazon: You can now make purchases from Amazon via ShopBlue.
  • Wegmans Meals2GO and Online Grocery Orders: Departments should submit a request with details of their order to the business office at least 72 hours before the event. Purchases will be submitted and paid using a procurement card to purchase allowable, business-related items from Wegmans.
  • Catering from other vendors: Departments should send a request with the details of their order.

Budgets

We provide budget guidance and direction as follows:

  • Undergraduate Education has an annual budgeting process that managers and directors participate in, and approved budgets are established.
  • Pre-approved operational needs, including computers, supplies, copier maintenance, and some software, are covered through a central unit-wide budget. Any other requests should be made in accordance with purchasing guidelines, in collaboration with the business office.
