Dear students,

I hope the start of your first semester at UB is going well. While you settle into your classes, find your favorite study spot, and meet new friends, I hope you’re beginning to feel at home on campus.

I had the opportunity to meet many of you at Accepted Students Day. At the Academic Services Hub, you were invited to fill out cards to post on the “Notes of Possibilities” wall. You were asked questions like what class, subject, or idea can’t you wait to explore? And what are you excited to discover at UB?

As the semester continues, remember that it’s okay to ask questions. Don’t be afraid to seek support and try new things. College is about discovering new interests and challenging yourself, and it’s your opportunity to grow in ways you may not yet imagine.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be reaching out again with information about registering for the spring semester. For now, study hard, be curious, get involved, and most importantly, enjoy the experience!
